Chimegatseling
His Holiness The Dalai Lama inaugurated Chime Gatseling Monastery, the monastic seat of H.E. Garje Khamtrul Rinpoche at Dharmashala on April 12, 2009. The consecration ceremony was attended by the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, the Honourable Chief Justice Commissioners, the Honourable Kalons of the Tibetan Cabinet, the Honourable Speakers and members of the Tibetan Parliament and heads of various governmental and non-governmental organisations.
In His address to the gathering, His Holiness lauded the efforts of Garje Khamtrul Rinpoche in the preservation and promotion of Tibetan Buddhism and culture. |
